Pulaski County Recreation will hold its 2005 Hershey’s Track and Field Local Meet,
Saturday, May 14 at Pulaski County High School’s Dobson Stadium

This is a one day event. Local winners will qualify for state competition.
State and National competition locations will be announced that day.

Age cutoff is December 31^st, of the current year

Registration Forms will be issued to Pulaski County schools and forms may be turned in to recreation department offices or the Pulaski County Visitor Center by Friday, May 13; at 5:00 P.M. Registration will be taken on-site from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.

Field events will begin at 10:00 A.M. and remain open until 12:00 Noon. Running events begin at 11:00 A.M. 

Events include 50 Meters, 100 Meters, 200 Meters, 400 Meters, 800 Meters and 1600 Meters and a 4 x 100 Meters relay for teams of four members. Field events are softball throw and standing long jump.  

The 50 Meters is 9-10 age only. The 1600 is only for 13-14 and 15-16 age groups. 

First and second place winners are eligible to participate in the Southwest District Meet, June 11, at Danville, starting time 10:00 A.M.
No track style cleats are permitted during any event.
