Fees:
$20.00 per player 

Eligibility:
Age groups, 7 & under; 10 & under; 13 & under. Age on
April 1, 2006 determines age grouping. Player may play in only one age group. Player may move up in age division if approval is given by league office.

Coaches cannot add players to roster without league office approval. 

Coaches are responsible for double checking ages and eligibility of all their players. 

Participation Rule:
7 & under and 10 & under league: all players available at start of game must play in each half and must start one of the game's four regulation quarters. Coaches are encouraged to play each player equal time. If player is on bench but cannot play for whatever reason this should be reported by coach to officials and opposing coach before game begins. If player is not able to participate in first half but shows up or can play in the second half, that player must play in the second half and start either the third or fourth quarter. 

Junior league: 11-13 player must play in half the game. Eleven minutes each half.

Uniforms: Team uniform provided by league should be worn to all games. However, player may wear backup shirt if the same color. Players should dress warmer when weather is cold/windy, must wear game shirt on the outside.

Rubber cleats are recommended. Tennis shoes are allowed. Metal cleats or hard plastic cleats are not allowed.

Shin guards are highly recommended. Goalie may wear soft baseball cap.

No plaster cast (no matter how well padded) or metal braces.

Substitutions: VHSL rules apply. Exception: goalie may be changed (only) at start of quarter, (unless for injury). Then goalie may return at next substitution opportunity.

11-13 goalie substitution on 11 minute sub. Whistle, start of second half, and injury.

Game rules:
Length of game:
7 & under, 10 & under.....10 minute quarters
13 & under.......................22 minute halves. 11 minute sub. Whistle
(2) minutes between quarters, (4) minutes between halves

...clock continues after goal is scored...stops on injuries and penalty kicks...time may be added by head official for stalling....

In the 13 & under, teams will be in league with Radford city.

In the 5-7 age group, one coach is allowed on the field.

In the 7 & under and 10 & under age groups, team may have (7) players to start game.  Other team may play (11). For 13 & under, (8) players to start.

Show good sportsmanship!!!!!!!!

Rained out games, power failure, darkness, etc. will be stopped and finished later to conclusion if for 7 & under and 10 & under, (10) or more minutes have been played. For 13 & under if (12) or more.

...no offsides for 7 & under

...no won/loss record kept for 7 & under 

Canceled games:
When games are canceled, coordinators will call coaches or coach can call numbers on the first page to get info. There will be some days when games cannot be called off until near or at game time. Coach should contact players.  

Note:
Pulaski County Recreation Leagues were founded on the principles of involvement, learning skills, and fun as the most important aspects of the program....not winning.
