Program Highlights

Community Collaboration Center – Located in Dublin, the newly renovated space will host multi-disciplinary, multi-generational programming to support citizens to learn, grow, and thrive. Housing the Office of Prevention and Recovery, Pulaski County’s Community Paramedic, offices for local service providers, a full kitchen, and multiple meetings rooms, this space encourages innovative and collaborative approaches to supporting family well-being.

P.L.A.Y– Promoting Leadership and Achievement in Youth is an incubator of our future community leaders. Students in middle and high school are invited to participate in programming the builds communication, leadership, and community engagement through fun activities with community mentors.

Work Report– provides a community-based probation option to empower justice-involved citizens to be active in the workforce, constructively participate in the lives of their families, and contribute positively to their communities. Through individualized comprehensive supports, we will create pathways to sustainable success and well-being for participants while reducing the effects of crime and costs of incarceration to the County and its taxpayers.

Pulaski County Connects

Pulaski County Connects– This open networking group brings together community stakeholders to establish collaborative partnerships and build a stronger community. Quarterly events are open to any non-profit, business, or community organization supporting Pulaski County citizens. Each event presents opportunities for participants to learn about other organizations and consider creative and innovative ways to collaborate around community issues.

Let's Get Social About Cessation – Join with other students to influence your community towards a healthier and safer future! This program, funded through a grant from Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth, invites young content creators, influencers, and editors to build content for the Office’s YouTube channel and social media accounts. Participants receive content education around the risks of substance use and gain skills in acting, editing, media-journalism, and communication.

H.O.P.E – Focused on healing, outreach, prevention and engagement, the HOPE program provides mental health and wrap around services to Pulaski County Veterans and their families. Covering out of pocket costs, and addressing barriers like transportation and childcare, the program helps to ensure our Veteran community has access to the services they need to thrive!
